Our policy on Sunday service cancellation

Children get to share in the worship with the adults before going to their own church service where they have fun while learning about God.

Service Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately there are times when it necessary for us to cancel our Sunday service. If we are able to determine in advance that service will be cancelled, we will post the information in the following ways:

Our policy is to post any service cancellation information by 7 A.M. on Sunday morning.

Building Closing

Because we currently meet at a Boston public school, we are dependent on the building being open and available. If the Boston Public School Department closes the school, we will generally be unable to conduct our worship service.

Snow Closing

Because we currently meet at a Boston public school, we are dependent on the Boston Public Schools Facilities Management Department to ensure that the driveway and parking lot are plowed. Unfortunately, plowing at public schools is a low priority on weekends. Plowing doesn't begin until the snow has stopped falling, and once they do begin plowing they have a large number of schools to plow. Even a major snow accumulation on a Friday night can result in our driveway and parking lot not being plowed until Sunday afternoon - too late for us to conduct service.
